Huntridge Park

Huntridge Park in Las Vegas is a beautiful 9-hole golf course I have played many times. It’s also one of the few public courses in the area, making it very accessible for most people. The challenging layout makes it an exciting course, with abundant trees and sand traps lining the fairways!

Huntridge Park, Las Vegas, Nevada, was my favorite place to go when I lived in Las Vegas. It is a public park that provides plenty of space for people to walk, bike, or jog around the track. There are also many trees, which provide shade and make the area very pleasant on hot days. The park has two playgrounds, tennis courts, soccer fields, and picnic areas. It is one location that offers something for everyone!

The Huntridge Family was originally from Utah, where they settled down to raise their family on 160 acres. The name “Huntridge” comes from combining two words: Hunt + Ridge. It symbolizes how they were always hunting for new adventures while staying rooted in tradition, just like the ridge that separates one valley from another!

It has a lot to offer visitors, including picnic areas, playgrounds, and plenty of green space for people who want to enjoy nature. The park was created by George E. Huntridge in 1939 because he wanted there to be a place for his children and grandchildren to play when they came over from Los Angeles. Community members donated several monuments you should note before your visit.

The city of Las Vegas has grown around the park, which now sits on 11 acres of land just south of Charleston Boulevard. Huntridge Golf Course is an 18-hole par 62 championship course designed by George Fazio and opened in 1965.
